Studio 40 were engaged to transform one of the existing1960's school buildings into a new fresh learning environment and to bring it up to current code and regulations.

Scope of works included creating a new school entry and raised veranda so that all rooms can be accessed by wheelchair.

To refurbish 3 classrooms and open it up to the central quadrangle with large glazed elements to greatly improve the connectivity between inside and outside.

To create an internal educational environment that both the kids and staff enjoy and will thrive in. 

With improved daylight, fresh colours & materials throughout with the addition of teaching pods and break out spaces, this building has been successfully transformed into a wonderful environment to learn & play.
